The AK-12 is a modern Russian assault rifle developed in 2012 by Izhmash, replacing the older AK-74. It is referred to as the fifth generation of Kalashnikov assault rifles. The basic version of the AK-12 uses 5.45×39 mm ammunition.
The WE09-2 is a replica of the modern version of the AK-12. The WellPRO series stands out for its durability, durable nylon construction and excellent performance.
Durable construction
The receiver, forearm, bolt cover, stock, magazine catch, and folding stock are made of durable nylon. Other parts such as the outer barrel, flash hider, gas block, ambidextrous selector lever, folding stock lock, and trigger guard are metal.
The front sight is part of the gas block and it is height adjustable. Rear sight is polymer, adjustable in height and side. The flash hider is metal, installed on a 14 mm CCW thread. There is a swivel loop on the outer barrel for attaching a sling.
Modern design
The AK-12 impresses with the integration of Picatinny rails - along the entire length of the upper body (forearm, and bolt cover) there is a long RIS rail for installing sighting equipment (optics, red-dots, sights). An 8-slot rail is integrated on the underside, and short 3-slot rails on each side for attaching accessories or grips.
Other advantages are the ergonomically shaped pistol grip, ambidextrous fire selector lever and a folding/extending stock with height adjustable cheekpiece. The stock has a metal folding mechanism (folds to the left side of the gun). It can be extended by 6 cm in five positions. The but plate of the stock is rubber for comfort. The rifle has a unique serial number.
Internal parts
The WE09-2 has a modified V3 gearbox, designed for ambidextrous selector and with a quick-change spring - just fold the stock and remove the bolt cover. The gearbox features 18:1 steel gears on 8 mm bearings and a piston with metal teeth.
The heart of the gun is an optical processor unit to allow programming of the selector lever (binary / 3 shot burst) and piston pre-cocking.
The plastic hop-up chamber is adjusted by a rotary wheel when the bolt cover is removed. The barrel has a diameter of 6.03 mm and uses classic AEG buckings.
Processor unit adjustment
To enter the programming mode, hold the trigger for approximately 10 seconds.
The number of beeps indicates the type of setting. To make a change to a given setting, hold the trigger as soon as you hear the desired number of beeps. Once the selection has been set, the programming mode is automatically exited.

Program 2: binary (shot when trigger is pressed and released)

Pre-cocking - 3x beeps
Program 1: pre-cocking off
Program 2: pre-cocking position 1
Programs 3, 4, 5: Positions not intended for DSG gears. The manufacturer recommends using the first two programs (1 and 2) ONLY.

This airsoft store is the best store in vancouver. the staff is amazing the selection of items in their store is really good all their items are really good quality. ive had my guns repaired by these guys, had upgrades done etc everytime i am impressed. Julian the owner of the shop is super nice and understanding, hes helped me out so much the last few years since i started playing airsoft.
